On 24th August, Madhusthali Vidyapeeth celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, focusing on the pre-primary and junior sections. The event was a blend of creativity, devotion and joy, with active participation from students and teachers alike.
The corridor area near staff room decorated for the occasion, thanks to the efforts of our dedicated teachers, who were assisted by the girls of class 5. Their combined efforts transformed the school into a vibrant and festive space, perfectly capturing the spirit of Janmashtami.
The tiny tots of the pre-primary section added to the festive atmosphere by arriving in the delightful get-up of Radha, Krishna and Gopikas. Their colorful costumes and innocent smiles brought the divine story of Krishna to life, making it a memorable day for all.
Students from the junior section showcased their creativity by making posters on various festivals, with a special focus on Janmashtami. One of the standout moments of the celebration was the unveiling of a beautifully crafted Krishna idol made by a student of
class-iv. The intricate detailing and devotion behind the idol were evident and it became a centerpiece of the day's celebrations. A student from class 5 also recited a heartfelt poem, capturing the essence of Lord Krishna's teachings and his divine playfulness.
The pre-primary students, filled with energy and excitement, enjoyed the day with dance and music, performing to traditional songs associated with the festival. Their joyful dances were a highlight, bringing smiles to everyone present.
To further enrich the students' understanding of Janmashtami, a special video related to the festival was shown in classes. The video provided educational insights and was a fitting conclusion to a day filled with celebration and learning.
