Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated by the staff and students on 26th August 2024 on the school campus.
As Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces, all the residential students and staff came together to make the occasion a memorable one.
A resonating performance was displayed by the students belting out the devotional songs in reverence to the birth of our Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil. Students truly communicated the message that "Every moment of life is worth a Celebration. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate."
Students were dressed up in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna with Balram. Thereon, the students took on the stage to recreate the iconic dahi handi ritual by forming a human pyramid to obtain the handi containing savoury sweets.
The short program ended with students and staff dancing to the tune of different beats making the best out of the celebration.
The celebration ended with a sumptuous meal with everyone participating making the evening a memorable one with blessings.
